AEON's collective blending of multi-disciplinary views and skills produces a number of different material and intellectual products, and people skilled in cross-disciplinary problem solving. Products are curiosity driven, but often serve as catalysts for scientific and technological advances with spinoffs that integrate with the socio-economic needs of Africa, including resource exploration and exploitation, geospatial planning and environmental development, river basin management, natural hazard prediction, Earth Stewardship research and training. Many of our outputs are available online through this website; others can be requested.

Research products range from peer reviewed professional journals to books, data-bases, conference proceedings, collections, maps, networks, and educational tools, as well as technical reports and media articles aimed to serve public, professional and educational needs.

People

AEON's core business is human capacity building in Earth Stewardship Science. Students and professionals that work at AEON come from a variety of different backgrounds and regard learning and research as life-long interactive habits. Newcomers engage through a number of the founder members, resident fellows, staff and associate members that can act as multi-mentor sounding boards and provide hands-on skills transfer.
